This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Joseph "Cibey" John who was born to the late John George and Thresiamma John in Bronx, New York on March 7, 1978 and was called to heaven on December 5, 2007.  Cibey was a family oriented person.  He loved spending time with his loved ones, especially his nephews John John and Jeremy.  Cibey was a funny, charming, and loving person who lived life to the fullest.  Everyday was a new day for Cibey to meet new people, and share his passion for life with others.  Cibey was a prankster and comedian, he loved to make everyone laugh.  Cibey was a loyal, hard working, dedicated, genuine person who affected the lives of so many with his charming personality.  As many of his police brethren can tell you, he was also there to bring joy and smiles to anyone and everyone he met.  All who met him were deeply touched and will cherish his memory for a lifetime.  He was loved very much by his family, friends and colleagues.  You will live forever in our memories and hearts and will be deeply missed.

No matter where I go in life and who I meet, I will never have a Cibey who would watch over me and take care of me like you did Cibey.  I can't wait till we get to see each other again and all my worries in the world will disappear like when I used to be with you.  Love you brother.

I sit here at work, remembering nothing but great memories with you Cibey.  Always having fun, laughing, that laugh will never leave me.  I still remember those days playing cops and robbers, you were the only one that could scare me even though I know you were coming.  Just being by your side, comforted all of us, we learned to enjoy and value life just by being with you.  All good times that I will always cherish.
